The kids and I went to Pionners Park last week and had a GREAT time! We left wondering why we haven't been going there ALL the time. Fun, educational, and free - what could be better!
Alex thought this turtle shell was cool, and we really had fun watching the live turtle trying to climb up a rock to escape! Poor little guy would struggle to the top, just get to the edge of freedom, and topple back down and land upside down...pretty cool watching him flip himself back over, too!
Lots of birds, critters, feathers, skins, shells, and cool stuff to check out.

We got to touch a couple of different snakes - the kids all thought that was pretty cool...especially Alex.
The birds were swimming, and the bullfrogs were croaking. We went on an adventure to find where the croaking was coming from and one jumped and "scared the bejeebers" out of Amanda. We're still laughing about it!
